Linda was born and raised in a Chicago suburb. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Southern Illinois University with a Ph.D. in Microbiology. After a short Post-Doctoral position in Iowa, Linda moved back to Chicago and began to pursue a career in technical training, which melded her love for technology with her love for teaching.
Linda began her technical training career as a Project Manager for SRA Technology Training. After SRA was acquired by Thomson Learning, Linda worked as a Senior Project Manager for two Thomson Learning companies: Course Technology and Wave Technologies. After her job was offshored in 2001, she continued to perform contract developmental editing and technical writing for NETg Press and Axzo Press. She's worked with Adam as a DE on several NETg/Axzo Press ILT courses. Linda also pursued a creative outlet by designing Web sites and Web site templates. Her technical expertise and Photoshop skills offer a strong foundation for her eye-catching and functional Web designs.
When Linda isn’t attached to her computer, she enjoys spending time with her husband John and their two furkid kitties, Samantha and Tabitha. She also likes hanging out with friends and family, cooking and baking, playing scrabble and other games, reading science fiction novels, and taking photographs.
