Adam WilcoxAdam A. Wilcox is President and founder of Writ Wilcox, LLC. Previously, he managed the ILT Series of instructor-led training materials, first for Thomson Learning, then for Axzo Press. He wrote and designed the first books in the series; designed the development process; and hired, trained, and managed the staff of 30 that produced the courses. After seven years, his original series had grown to a thousand titles on software, certification, and professional development topics, with over ten million dollars in annual sales.

Before that, he was a radio producer, curriculum developer, manager of technical documentation, instructional designer for e-learning, and ran an entrepreneurial custom courseware business for Ziff-Davis Education (now ElementK).

His skill set is creative as well as technical. His poetry has appeared in Poetry, The Colorado Review, Cairn, and Folio. For eight years, he wrote the "Gut Instincts" food column for Rochester City Newspaper (for which he won two national awards from the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies), and currently writes food features for Rochester Magazine. He also plays bass in three bands and as a volunteer with the Association of Retarded Citizens (ARC) of Monroe County. He lives in Rochester, NY, with his choreographer wife, Anne Harris Wilcox, their three children, and their Bernese mountain dog.
